Apple African Grey Senior - Adoption, Rescue for sale in Elizabeth, Colorado

Apple came to us from a hoarding situation in 2009. She had been a breeder with a long time CO aviculturist who became gravely ill, and re-homed several of her birds when she could no longer care for them, including Apple. Aside from her being a wild caught Timneh Grey parrot, not much else is known about her past. She is shy around new people, but once she gets more comfortable with you she becomes more vocal with her whistles and chirps. When she's not chewing up cardboard boxes or toys, she's happily whistling in her cage. Apple enjoys watching the wild birds outside and taking in the world around her. She is still learning to comfortably step up, but with time and dedication, she will make a great addition to any family. Apple needs a large cage with plenty of enrichment. She is a joy to watch as she keeps herself busy and to hear as she makes her special sounds and noises throughout the day.
